• FAQ - Assistance & replacements
How is an electric pump installed?
The electric pump should be installed and operated in strict accordance with the instructions and safety warnings listed in the user manual.
What are the operational limits of the pump?
The pump must be within the technical and environmental limits indicated in the instruction manuals and technical catalogues
What are the operational tolerances on pump performance?
The performance of the electric pumps supplied complies with UNI EN ISO 9906 Appendix A for pumps manufactured in series
How is an electrical panel for an electrical pump sized?
The maximum absorption in relation to the nominal current indicated on the data plate on the electric pump or motor In(A) must be verified and then the appropriate panel must be selected.
How to perform a proper electrical connection for a three-phase electric pump?
The electrical connection must be carried out at the terminal after checking the indications on the product data plate. The electrical connection must be carried out at the terminal after checking the indications on the product data plate
Can a pump operate at 50 and 60 Hz?
No, impeller and motor power are designed to operate at 50Hz, 60Hz operation requires a different impeller or motor power.
Can a three-phase electric pump be connected to a single phase power supply?
This operation is not recommended as there is the risk of irreparably damaging the electric motor.
Does hydraulic performance vary when channelling a liquid or a solution with a density greater than water?
No, the electric pump hydraulics do not vary with the density of the fluid pumped, only the absorbed hydraulic power varies.
